Change Management Process

APM developed client-specific change management systems to track change management and FWAs on capital projects. The Field Work Authorization process tracks the development, approval, and closeout of FWAs and ensures accurate FWA accruals, invoicing, and forecasting.

In a separate change management solution, we developed a process for tracking quantity and labor increases to ensure new scope is properly accounted for in all aspects of project reporting. We built a system to clearly show the impact change orders have on quantity and labor projections. This provides the project team with transparency to pending, approved, and completed change orders. The project team also gains a better understanding of the remaining scope and can easily track all budget changes from the original budget to the current approved plan.
